The Silver Star B&B Inn can be described as elegant but casual and is without a doubt interesting and out of the ordinary.

Located on a bucolic 340 acre estate, it is perfect for a quiet getaway, intimate wedding, reunions, retreats, or to simply connect with the great outdoors.

Fine art and photography are exhibited throughout and eclectic interiors artfully blend antique, vintage, and contemporary furnishings resulting in an unusually interesting and wonderfully comfortable casual environment.
 

This area of southwestern Wisconsin somehow escaped the great "Ice Age" (called the Wisconsin glaciations). It also mysteriously escaped the previous ice age (the Illinoisan). Nowhere else that we know of on the planet has any such ice-surrounded "island" occurred during any of the Ice Ages. Today we call it the drift less area --unique in the entire world.
